The novel I completed most recently was There is no me without you. I thought it was amazing how this woman was able to provide so much for the orphans of Ethiopia with hardly any help from the government.

I just finished Julip, by Jim Harrison (my favorite all-time writer!).
It is a collection of three novellas. The writing is brilliant, the landscapes vivid, and the characters thoroughly believable, memorable, and flawed.

I just finished reading Candy by Kevin Brooks and it was amazing. It was just like my favorite book Tweak. It amazed me that someone close to my age could go through all those terrible things. Joe's experience with meeting with Candy, I think as a person it changed him. It opened up new doors and oppurtunties.

I just finished Island of Lost Girls by Jennifer McMahon. It was not that good because it jumped from the past to the present every chapter and it was confusing at times. It was also not very realistic with some of the thigs that were happening. Most of the things that were happening in the book would not actually happen in real life.

The last novel i read was Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever by James Patterson. It is the second in the series about a group of mutated kids with wings and other abilities. They are in the middle of finding The School in washingtin D.c. and running away from half wolf chasers. It was a very action packed suspenseful book. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes action/adventure novels.

I read beyond the choclate war by Robert Cormier. This book wasnt as good as the The Choclate War because it was more gloomy and dark. It tended to drag alot during the middle of the novel. I honestly dont recommend this book because i found it quite boring and not interesting. :\

I just finished the book Ricochet by Julie Gonzalez. And to me, I think it was an OK book, but it had many characters, and it's very difficult to keep track of who did what and who is related. But, overall I would give it a C on a grade scale.

I most recently read the novel Looking for Alaska, by John Green. It was an amazing novel about a young adult learning about life. He had no idea what was awaiting him at his boarding school and how much his life would be influenced by his experiences there and by the people he would meet there.

The book I recently finished was Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz. It was basically about the main protagonist, Schuyler Van Alen, learning something so new about her life and it'll never be the same again after, she then tries to find the answers to her questions, which aren't solved in the first book. I recommend it for Twilight lovers but it doesn't beat Twilight at all so don't expect too highly of it but it's interesting. It's a book series also, and the one I read is the first.

I just finished reading Generation Kill by Evan Wright. I would reccomend this novel to people who are interested in modern warfare. This novel is mainly about the war in Iraq. All the information was directly from a Rolling Sotnes reporter who traveled in Iraq with Recon Marines. If you enjoy reading books about war that include every gory detail this book is for you.

I just read Brisinger by Christopher Paolini, Brisinger is the third book in a four book story. It was filled with action and dragons and set during the medieval times. You wouldn't be able to understand the book unless you had previously read its preceding books. If you enjoy action adventure books this is a must read.

I last read Ordinary Ghosts by Eireen Corrigan. It's about a teenage boy whose brother is abesent and mother recenttly died. He finds the key to the school he attends which allows him to access the school at all times. I thought it was pretty boring and unexciting. I kept waiting for something exciting to happen but it never did, it kept dragging on. Nothing happened that put me in shock. I wouldn't recommend this book.

The dog and the young boy, a perfect match in friendship persue many obstacles, except, when Sounder is in need of savior can he be saved by his best friend?

The Last book I read was Kafka on the Shore, by Haruku Murakami. Its a very deep book, and kind of spiritual. About a 15 year old boy who runs away from home to different provinces in Japan to try to figure out his purpose in life, and try to discover who is long-lost mother and sister were. If anyone has ever seen the movie Fight Club, then you would understand how hard it is to explain that movie to just anybody. It's the same concept with this book. You have to read it to understand. Its longer then I expected and a bit boring at some parts so I wouldnt recommend it to be first choice.

i read the book Friday Night Lights which was also a movie that came out in 2004. This book is very similar to the movie but the book has a lot more detail in the society of Oddessa Texas. During the Permian Panthers magical season they had to deal with the social classes, money, and the pressure to win at all cost. In the movie they show the Panthers losing in the state championship to Carter but in the book it states that Carter got stripped of their state championship because the head coach played an inelligble player. I recommend this book to anyone who likes sports such as football. It's very exciting

The novel i just read recently was Who Killed My Daughter, by Lois Duncan. I thought it was well written and a good book. I would recommend the novel to anyone who has an interest in suspense and mystery novels. It is more of an investigation novel because throughout the book there are hints given to who murdered Lois' daughter. I will admit the book did get boring at times but overall it was a good novel and kept me on my feet.

I just reading Never Die Easy by Walter Payton. It was an autobiography. This was one of the only books i really enjoyed. Walter Payton to me is a hero, he was a guy that you just respected on and off the field. In my opinion and many other football fans he was the greatest running back that ever played the game. He was described as a mans man, he was a family man, and even when he was dying not once did he complain Walter Payton truly is a hero.

I recently read a book called Go Ask Alice, it was very good and it made you want to keep going on . It was about a girl who had started drugs when she went away to her grandparent's house for summer and got mixed up with the wrong crowd and wrong drugs. Soon after she was hooked, and doing things she couldnt even remember. i highly reccomend this book to anyone who likes to be kept in suspense.
